3000 Windscreen wiper rack - HELP?

Advice & assistance required PLEASE.
Does anyone know (on the 3000) what the windscreen wiper gear is?  I thought it was Mini.  My car is in for MOT & has failed on the wipers not working.  The garage says the rack mechanism is seized (possibly due to lack of use over 7 / 8 months!).  They think it looks modified - different size to Mini. Does anyone have a part number perhaps or any other helpful info PLEASE?

Hi I can have a look under my dash but I think is a mini drive, they are quite easy to get apart, is it the motor or the rack it’s self seized?

I believe, from what the garage have said, that it is the drive which is the problem.
