The wheels from the smaller Triumphs, ie the Herald, Spitfire and GT6 are supposed to fit, as well as those specifically for the Marina of course, but I have heard that some wheels for the Triumph range have a smaller centre hole which needs to be releived for the centre hub nut fits. The bolt on wires originally from that range fit without modification, but are like hens teeth nowadays and if you find any they will probably need total restoration. The Dolly wheels I think are the same as TR6 and have a different offset - on fleabay they quote that the front will need spacers to fit the Marina. I can neither deny or verify that, but it does sound about right given that yours foul the calipers. Maybe a set of spacers for you is the cheapest solution?
Minilites and Minatours (slightly cheaper but indistinguishable) look great and are available brand new to fit the Marina, and they sometimes come up on fleabay - a set of 5 have just gone, with tyres for £60 but they did need a bit of work.

Hi all,
Just to add a usefull piece about wheels for Marina based kits;the Triumph Dolomite wheels,Sprint alloys or steels have a different offset than Marina wheels which is why they will foul the brake calipers.Cheapest option is indeed to use spacers to bring the rims out slightly but I always felt the standard wheel/tyre combination looked too small for the wheelarches anyway, which is 165(/80)r13.
Upgrade in tyre size on the 13'' rim is 175/70r13 which seems to be the popular choice.
However, there is an alternative which I successfully achieved when I rebuilt the Hawthorn I had a few years back-a switch to 14'' wheels.
The older Rover Montego/Maestro had the same wheelstud pattern & came with option of 14'' wheels-avoid the crap metric tyre sized models. There was also a nice cross-spoke alloy design available.
I fitted a set of these steel rims to my Hawthorn along with 185/65r14 tyres & they improved the appearance no end, although the new owner has since changed them for the alloy type.
As a precautionary measure I also changed the spindly original wheelstuds for some M12 Ford items to avoid any accidents with fatigue failure. These were extended length studs as I had 10mm plate spacers fitted to overcome the slight difference in offset.
If anyone is interested in a conversion of this nature I would be happy to help in anyway.

Oh & I believe there may still be some pictures of my old car on the Triumph Dolomite website forum if it helps.
