Agreed the turnout was low, BUT we had a good number of visitors very late in the day including Bulldogs who had been on their "local" club sites. Walking around the (massive) showground you could still see a number of Bulldogs on other club sites, and there were probably other Haldanes as well as 10's if not 100's of Sumos, so it is not all bad.
After our AGM I felt quite elated at the election of 2 new committee members, and although they took the places of leaving long standing members whose experience will be missed, having new blood on the committee will breath new life into the club.
On the whole, to me Stoneleigh this year was a resounding success - the overnight campers enjoyed it immensly and I hope to see more doing the same at the rest of the shows during the year.

Yes I did see bob drive in as I was just going out of the gate. The show was quiet all over I thought compaired to other years. Whatever happened to the prize for best car and distance traveled?

Indeed whatever happened to the prizes? Never received any myself although I should have won the "newest minilite wheels on a Bulldog", "shiniest Stainless steel custom made exhaust manifold", "most LED's" and "best british racing green Mk2 Bulldog with a tan mohair hood" awards over the years. Not miffed at all. Anyway we don't have a Chairman to present them now.

Sorry I couldn't get to Stoneleigh this year, I was playing with a DB9 at the Las Vegas Raceway !
Hope to make Newark though.
