Just received notification from NFAutos, those of Car Builder Solutions fame, about their new online and downloadable catalogue available now. In my humble opionion, these guys have stock of parts only describable by the name, and you can hunt high and low for bits that they have on the shelf. Also in their catalogue there is an absolute gold mine of hints, tips and shortcuts for car builders. I bought loads of stuff from them when building the Hawthorn last year and I cannot recommend them enough. Go to http://www.nfauto.co.uk and have a good browse - especially at the hints.

Thanks for the info. I recently bought a bulldog which only really needs a repaint and recommissioning. Do you know where I could get hold of a build manual for an 88 (registered) Pilgrim Bulldog also information on what donor parts were used other than the obvious Marina parts.

Have emailed various people and so far not received a reply.

Thanks,

Fin Purcell.

Please email me offline with your address and I can send you a Pilgrim build manual for your Bulldog on CD. Pilgrim Cars are comfortable with the club issuing manuals for obsolete models and there are no licence or copyright issues.
I always ask new owners who say that their cars need a "repaint", why, or at least are you sure, because the original gell coat was so good that sometimes a good rub down with Ferrecla will sometimes be all that is needed. Unless there is damage to the original fibreglass bodywork I would always recommend that you go for a sample compounding first. My Bulldog was first registered in 1986 and the original gell coat polishes up brilliantly for shows, with only one or two minor scars.

Hi Helen - no personal message received from you as yet. My email address is no secret and is in my profile -
ian_streatfield@hotmail.com - so please send me a message directly.
Maybe there is a delay - there seems to be a big gap between these posts!
