Hi my name is Nick. Im 30 and built my first Sumo back in 2003 (the day England won the Rugby World Cup) a great day to be British.

My home town is in Hastings and im positng regarding this. Every year the coming of Summer is celebrated in carnival style atmosphere where people from all over the country flock to the town. The Police are out directing traffic and 40,000 motorbikes and trikes descendon the town including some Kit Cars. This has ended up being a MASSIVE fun occassion and day out with people camping out and genreally having fun. IT happens on the first bank holiday in May and i was wondering if next year we could spread the word and bring a Pilgrim inspired influence to the town. Just for a little history - the bikes first started witha few mates getting together and coming down here 40 odd years ago and has grown by word from there. The TV cameras are always down as well. What does everyone think  Undecided

Also just to let aeveryone know i am building another CObra and have become the UK distributor for Rover V8 engines of various prices and levels. Smiley

thank

Hi Nick,
As Membership Secretary and Editor of the club magazine The Breed I would be more than happy to turn out for such an occasion as I'm sure would some of the other members. I don't know if you are thinking of building a Pilgrim Sumo as your Cobra copy  but at the moment you can get a Sumo kit off the shelf at Small Dole (Pilgrim Cars) in various colours delivery tomorrow or thereabouts and I am told by one of our club members that the quality of the body shell is excellent. I would like to point out that I have no alliegance to the company but credit where it's due.
