the weekend is nearly here.dont forget the first east anglian meet is this sunday from 12,at the anchor,burwell.

We will be there too - and I spoke to Tom Burton this afternoon who is staying overnight Saturday so he will be there. I have a nasty feeling there might be a slight lack of Pilgrim cars there though due to the inclement weather forecasted. Never mind - plenty of summer to come!

Mostly I can juggle Sunday commitments but this time I can't. I would be letting a lot of young people down if I got out of this prior engagement.  So I won't be there but have a good day all of you and I look forward to the next one, please make a date.

Hi all yes i will be there but not in the haldane.
 Ian did you still want to meet up if so is the services OK it will take about 1 hour 15 minutes to get there so what time ? Les.

Er Mac? I use a PC. Woosies? Let me tell you little boy I was driving around in the Bulldog in a Blizzard when you were still in short trousers grumble moan discontent young people these days can't get a decent cup of tea anywhere Snake pass in FRONT of a Snowplough even woosies indeed. Anyway I've got a cold.

Les - I have not heard from the others coming so I think it best we make our own way there.

thank you to all who turned up.i hope you had a good drive home.we had a really good time,i was very pleased with the pub,it should be a very good venue in the summer.
i'll try and arrange the 2nd meet for mid/late may.please let me know any date preferences

And a big thanks from us as well Simon - thanks for putting it all together and I hope that others in the area come along next time, and the next time, and the next time............
That is a great pub there - very friendly bar staff, service was excellent and the Sunday Lunch was really superb. There looks to be a decent walk along the river just 100 yards down the lane to walk it off!
You should put youself forward at the AGM for area rep at Stoneleigh.
